We went for Hudson's 6 month appointment today, even though he is really almost 7 months (thanks to switching insurance and moving), hopefully we'll be caught up by the 9 month, I think that's when the next one is.
Anyway he weighed in at 20.2lbs (95%)
length 28" (90%)
head 18.5" (95%)
His Dr said he is a healthy and strong boy!
He started crawling yesterday, not for very long or far, here are a couple sneak peeks, he tends to stop when we watch him, then forget how he did it or something.

Highlights of My Day

Everyday is fun, but I so easily forget, but I don't want to forget today:
-Waking up to TJ's alarm at 5am and remembering I had heard Hudson and fell back asleep, so I creeped into his room, however my eyes wouldn't open yet so I got really close so I could just peep my eye open and go back to sleep, however my head bumped into Hudson's and when I opened my eyes he was on all fours with a big smile!
-Some new friends were saying how Hudson never makes a peep, I said he never cries, which he really hardly ever does, instantly he bursts out crying, right than and there, the only times he has before since he was 3 months old is if he has an air bubble or I walk away when he is hungry and tired, he usually just makes this really funny slightly contorted face and growling noise
-Opening up a present for Hudson from some old friends, they were beautiful natural teething toys with his name engraved, and he got the biggest smile and teethed away!
-Wrapping Hudson in his blanket, his eyes were open, by the time his head hit the mattress his eyes were closed and he was asleep, amazing what a couple seconds can do.
-TJ wanted to watch Black Beauty, one of my childhood favorites that I completely forgot about, I sobbed, like for real crying noises and all worst/best movie ever
-TJ and I found our for real dream house, now we just need the dinero before it sells

Random thoughts on our move:

If you decide to move to the middle of nowhere, call the internet people before you get there! It's so fun to catch up on everything, though!

Wow we are here, it is beautiful!!! We love it! I miss my friends, like a lot!!! Like a lot a lot!! I swear everyone is older than us here. I've dove right in with mommy groups etc, but I worry I'll never have a close girlfriend again!

It almost makes me want to get a job, just to meet people, but Hudson is really cool, so I think I'll just stay up in our little perch with him!

There are lots of scenic and great trails to run, it's FREEZING, but that's never stopped me.

I live in my track jacket and put make up on like 3 times a week.

I've eaten most of a huge jar of candy and lost 10 pounds, seriously!

I've also made just about every other meal for our family so fun and yummy.

Yesterday we finally got our dryer converted from a 3 to a 4 prong, HOLY LAUNDRY, Hudson wore approximately 50 onsies give or take 3o, but good thing we had that many!

Hudson learned to clap last week and is so close to crawling, he loves to impress us!

Oh yes I took him swimming on Saturday and taught him to splash, he's very impressed with himself!

Hudson prefers his water out of a cup, he plays with his bottle.

Hudson prefers vegis at night and fruit in the morning.

I'm starting to not wake up when he coos for me at night, does that mean I'm beyond exhaustion?

Hudson also just got into size 12 month clothes, I swear he's only 6 1/2 months!

Hudson still has not had a single play date in his life with a baby boy, I guess the odds are on his side!

Today is TJ's birthday, we go to bed really early now, and read together, and relax it's really nice, we celebrated with his favorite french toast, curry wraps, bean and bellow burgers, sweet potato fries, and smoothies! I'm making him a DVD but didn't finish because the HOLY LAUNDRY took over my life, that and Hudson was extra needy today! Well I'm tired pics to come!
